Become A Partner

Sponsors – Corporate and Individual

We must extend our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to all our sponsors and donors, whose continuous support over the years has made it possible for us to continue to serve and add value to the Gambian ballet and dance community as a whole.

Annual Partner Program

Make an investment in the future of ballet in Africa. Join our annual Partner Program.

As a member of our family, you will enjoy some unique behind-the scenes experiences and learn more about the creative process behind classical ballet and contemporary dance.

Why do we need your support?

The Gambia Dance Factory is a not-for-profit dance and community development organisation and your support plays a crucial part in securing the future of the development of dance in Africa and helping us achieve our goal of bringing the highest quality ballet & contemporary dance to audiences across Africa and the world.

Your gift to the Partner Program will be directed towards the core needs of the Gambia Dance Factory and will help us to

  • Inspire future audiences though our education program
  • Commission and create new work in collaboration with leading African and international artists
  • Nurture outstanding young creative talent
  • Share our work with audiences all over Africa and across the world.

In West Africa 16 million girls are not in school due to complex social, political, traditional and economical factors. Everything from marriage practices to disease to poverty to seasonal labour requirements contribute to this catastrophe.

Using ballet, dance and the performing arts, the Ballet Hss Decided mission is to help these young underprivileged girls to get into school, expand their horizons, explore their creativity and build the friendships, confidence and self esteem to live a better life. Get Involved
